Voted into the FBFL Hall of Fame in 2010, Randy Behrens was the second owner to have the distinction of being an FBFL Hall of Famer. Randy is married to Debbie and has two kids, Kayla and Ryan and also 3 4 granddaughters, Kinsley, Haley, McKenna and Avery. Ryan is currently owning and coaching a team in the FBFL. Randy wouldn't be classified as one of the most successful owners in the FBFL but his strength has come from the organization of the league itself. The FBFL was thrown together in 1993-1994 with the first draft being held at Assistant Commissioner Ray Opiola's house and all owners had about 3 days notice. Kevin Waul, owner of the Crazies, called Randy up on a whim and asked if he'd be interested in starting a fantasy football league. The NFL season starts in a week and Randy didn't know anything about fantasy football, some will argue that he still doesn't but I digress, after talking things over with Kevin and Ray, we made some phone calls and started the league. Randy then worked on growing the league to 12 teams in 1995 and then 20 teams in 1996 before going to a full fledged 24 teams in 1997. Adding the teams has been the easy part as friends and family who have heard of the league have flocked to try to become part of it. The one thing that Randy has always said is this is an owner ran league and it has become true to this day allowing for voting and decision making to be done by the owners on a yearly basis. Randy spends many hours putting together the website, graduating the newsletter into a podcast, answering questions and taking care of trades along with managing the protected players list. The Dog Pound itself hasn't seen quite as much success as the league has with a 119-120-5 record through 2010. The Pound has seen playoff appearances and had an outstanding year in 1998 where they went 13-4 and won their first and only FBFL championship. They then won their division with a 10-4 record in 2000 but took a 1st round loss. They sat out the post season until 2008 after the 2000 season and in 2008 they went 9-5 but took a first round loss once again. Randy has been the catalyst to this league from the organizational standpoint and assuring that all is ran fluently but also will always say "if it weren't for the owners and the participation in the league, it would not have near the success!"
